Release: Racine for Governor Canvass Kickoff

The Racine for Governor Campaign will kick off its statewide canvass on Saturday morning at the campaign headquarters in Winooski. Teams around the state will knock on doors to talk with voters about issues that are important to them. Doug Racine will help kick off the statewide canvass at the headquarters. Lawn signs will also be delivered across the state throughout the weekend.

Montpelier, VT – The Vermont League of Conservation Voters (VT LCV) announced today that it has endorsed Senator Doug Racine for Governor.

The VT LCV endorsed Senator Racine based on his deep-seated environmental values and record of achievement in promoting Vermont’s environment.

The announcement caps off an eventful week for the Racine campaign, following major endorsements by the NEA and the AFL-CIO.

Legislators endorse Racine for Governor

MONTPELIER, VT – Twenty-seven Vermont state legislators today endorsed Doug Racine for Governor at a gathering at the statehouse. “I want to thank all of my colleagues who are supporting me today, and I am looking forward to hitting the campaign trail with each of them as we finish our work here and get out to talk with Vermonters,” Racine stated.

Rep. John Moran (D-Wardsboro) explained, “I am supporting Doug Racine because he is a strong leader, and we need that now.”

I'm For Doug

In the last four years as a Representative from Winooski I have watched Doug in the Senate working on the health care bill and other issues that are very important to Vermonters. Doug listens to everyone, no matter what side they are on. I have seen Doug many evening as I leave the state house working in his committee room very late into the evenings.

Doug is for Vermonters of all walks of life and he will make a great governor to lead our state out the recession.
