Our first Honk and Wave of the season – near our headquarters at the traffic circle in Winooski.

A second press conference to release Revitalizing Our Economy at the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation, then a tour of the site.

Meatloaf Monday at the Brattleboro Senior Center. Nice to visit with some folks and talk about senior issues.

Started the day at the statehouse, to release my economic development plan, Revitalizing Vermont’s Economy.

The Great Vermont Community Picnic to benefit the Vermont Food Bank.

Forum in Bennington – Take 2 – Bennington County Chair Jerry Skapof again played the role of Brian Dubie.

8/14 – Manchester

Forum in Manchester – Take 1 – Bennington County Democrats Chair took on the role of Brian Dubie and we debated him.

8/14 – Montpelier

Montpelier Farmers Market in the morning. Great to see so many folks out buying local products at the height of the season!

“I am impressed with I have heard Doug say. He is aware of the lack of respect the current administration has for State Employees and lower and moderate income Vermonters. Doug cares about the regular Vermonters, doesn’t seem so concerned with lining the pockets of the wealthy to the detriment of the rest of Vermonters. I am hoping he will be a bright spot in a very dark looking future and I hope he can undo the damage that Gov. Douglas and his cronies have and are continuing to doing to Vermont. He has the right insight and the right thinking of Vermonters. He realizes that we must all take care of those who are less fortunate than ourselves. He understands that his role is to serve the people of Vermont, unlike the current administration whose only understanding is the bottom line…”
