8/13 – Burlington
My 40th reunion for Burlington High School – class of 1970.
8/12 – New Haven
Forum tonight at the Addison County Field Days in front of the Cow Palace. Questions from Kristen Carlsen, Mark Johnson, and Tim McQuisten centered on energy, the budget, and the economy.
8/11 – Montpelier
VSEA picnic. I really appreciate the endorsement of the VSEA for my campaign and all the work they are doing to help me get elected.
8/11 – Burlington
Live debate at the Burlington Free Press. We talked about many subjects, including Challenges for Change, the budget, and education.
8/10 – Rutland
Winter in August in Rutland. Talked with a lot of business people about the economy and visited with some old friends, too.
8/9 – Bethel
Great crowd at the houseparty tonight. The downpour emphasized my point that we should use the rainy day funds.
8/8 – Burlington
Spent some time at the Dragonboat Festival. Great to see some old friends and also the Race to Replace group.
8/7 – Marshfield
Another localvore potluck at the Chodorkoff’s. We talked about Vermont Yankee, health care, and getting kids off to a good start.
8/6 – Hinesburg
Great party at Howdy Russell and Brian Cote’s house. It was nice to see so many old friends, and to meet some new ones, too.
8/4 – Newport
Early Education Forum – lots of questions about getting kids off to a great start, which is a passion of mine.
I'm For Doug
Arthur Hamlin, Braintree
“I am going to support Doug Racine because he will stand up for State employees. I have not heard any other candidate say without qualification that State workers have given enough already in job cuts and now pay cuts. State government is on the brink, programs and services are stretched to the breaking point. It is time to increase revenues, tap the rainy day fund, and deficit spend if necessary.”
