Racine for Governor Campaign Hires Internet Strategy Consultant

Campaign is ramping up for 21st century grassroots effort

RICHMOND, VT–Gubernatorial candidate Doug Racine announced today that he has contracted with Brendan Bush of Original Gravity Media, Inc., as an internet strategy consultant. Bush, 29, will be working to redesign Racine’s campaign website, develop online outreach materials, and work with field director Amy Shollenberger to add to the campaign’s grassroots outreach strategy.

“Brendan is a great addition to our team,” Racine noted, “His experience with online outreach and developing tools for voter participation will add flexibility and excitement to my campaign. We’ll be able to work with people in their communities, as well as offer them opportunities to be creative participants in the campaign.”

A veteran of two presidential campaigns, numerous U.S. senate campaigns, and two gubernatorial campaigns, Bush has been involved in online organizing and strategy for over five years. He is the president of Original Gravity Media, a Burlington-based web design and internet strategy consulting firm. He lives with his partner Rachel and their dog Brewster in Burlington’s south end. Brendan grew up on the south shore of Massachusetts, and holds a B.A. in anthropology from Skidmore College.
